Natural Park Series
These are nudes photographed outdoors, primarily in natural surroundings. Some are at state or national parks, most are in Maine. Sometimes private property owners permit me to photograph on their land, even by invitation. Many photographs are taken in the early morning - both for lighting and privacy purposes.
Humans are simply extensions of the Earth. This series juxtaposes the natural beauty of the human form with the natural beauty of the Earth. In many photographs, the human(s) reflect the surroundings in which they were photographed. Though not a requirement, a general rule of thumb for me is to have the nude enhance a composition that would otherwise be an interesting photograph in its own right.
