I have a strong appreciation for natural beauty and I'm particularly drawn to visual aesthetics. I believe that the opposite extremes of order and chaos assist us in recognizing strong composition, in our visual worlds and otherwise. Like many artists before me, I've chosen to make my home on the dramatic coast of Maine. While I do travel and certainly appreciate many different surroundings, my heart is in Maine, and therefore most of my outdoor photography is taken nearby. No matter where you live, I offer you this: Open your eyes every day. And don't just see your surroundings; take a good, long look.
