About the Artist
My appreciation of natural beauty was certainly influenced by my upbringing in the farthest reaches of Northern Maine, Madawaska. I logged thousands of miles hiking, cross-country running, and snowshoeing. After spending 22 years away, I returned to Maine and currently reside in the art-friendly coastal community of Belfast. In 2003 I opened Indigo Gallery in Belfast, providing a permanent venue to exhibit my work. I also participate in several group and solo exhibitions each year. Some of my photographs have been featured in books and magazines, and a few have earned critical acclaim.
The Maine landscape and seascape are an artist's dream and I urge you to visit sometime. There are dozens of art galleries to whet your appetite when you're not out exploring. Belfast is centrally located about 30 minutes North of the Camden-Rockport-Rockland area and about 75 minutes South of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Portland is about 2 hours South of Belfast.
